What’s on Your Stop Doing List?

“Slowing down is sometimes the best way to speed up.”
— Mike Vance

Hi, what's going on?

It’s been a while and I wanted to check in and see how you’re doing. Can you believe it’s 2023? Is it just me or was last year FULL ON with so much going on?

I know this is the time of year when a lot of people are setting New Year’s resolutions, goals, etc. I think setting intentions and goals are great…

But, don’t you feel like one of the big takeaway messages from last year was to make sure we’re not overcommitting and trying to take on too much this year?

After a year of continually running from one thing to the next, always being on the move, and managing a never-ending “to-do” list, what has really settled in is:  STOP! It’s time to change things up.

I’ve decided the theme for 2023 is “Less is More”. Doesn’t that sound great? Join me?

How do we commit to doing less but still accomplish what’s most important to us?

Well, that’s where the “Stop Doing List” comes to the rescue. Have you heard about this list? It was designed by Jim Collins, the best-selling author of “Good to Great”.

It’s a timesaver and lifesaver. It helps you pinpoint exactly what’s draining you so you can change things up and do more of what’s right for you. If we’re going to commit to living a life of “Less is More,” then it really matters how we choose to spend our time and what we’re focusing on.

It takes just 5 minutes to create one of these stop doing lists for yourself, but the benefits are enormous. It’s a game changer! It sets you up to have a year where you’re flowing, making progress, feeling good, and have the best state of mind.

Here’s a short video and podcast with the details to create your 2023 Stop Doing List.

For those of you who’ve been here for a while, you know I’m always on the lookout for simple little things we can do that have a positive ripple effect on our lives. The Stop Doing List is definitely one of them.

Let me know what ends up on your list. Talk to you soon!
